THÜRINGERBERG VILLAGE

From the Walser house you look down on Thüringerberg. But only figuratively! Because this place is one of the loveliest mountain villages that the Vorarlberg has to offer. And the village restaurant? Sensational! Honestly.

But the most important thing first: Thüringerberg is conveniently located right at the entrance of the Grosses Walsertal and offers easy access to various large and less large ski areas. Fast descents, romantic trails and beautiful trails for snowshoers and tourers are just waiting to be discovered. Winter sports enthusiasts are in the thick of things during the day, but in the evening they can retreat to a relaxed, quiet place, away from the usual ski circuit. But that does not mean that guests have to do without après-ski. This not only guarantees the hut-gastronomy on the slopes. Even in Thuringerberg itself you can go out well – be it „only“ for a beer, a wine or a good meal. By the way, Thüringerberg is also an ideal starting point for a natural holiday in summer. A network of well over 200 kilometers of marked hiking trails begins almost on the doorstep and leads to wild gorges, mountain peaks, managed alpine huts, meadows and forests. Which destination you choose is up to you. The possibilities from here are (almost) endless and are guaranteed to be much more than just a stay. Thüringerberg is divided into two parts. The upper part is „a bit steep“ thanks to glacial trough gullies. Here are Thuringian mountain farms. In the lower part of the community it comes with extensive meadows and flat areas gentler.
